2026 NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH KICK-OFF

“WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”

March 3, 2026. The Municipality officially kicked off the 2026 National Women’s Month with vibrant energy and strong community spirit at Jewel Park.

Ina ken Katulong ti Umili, Mayor Evangeline Ingoy Verzosa, joined the celebration and showed her full support for this year’s theme, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.” Participants from various offices, organizations, and barangays proudly took part in the colorful parade, symbolizing unity and commitment to building a fair and inclusive community.

The celebration continued with an energetic Zumba dance session that filled the park with smiles, laughter, and empowering vibes—proving that when we come together, we move stronger as one.

This kick-off activity marks the beginning of a month-long celebration recognizing the invaluable contributions of women and reaffirming our shared responsibility in promoting gender equality and inclusivity in our municipality.
