Barangay Borono is one of the 43 barangays that comprises the Municipality of Tagudin. It is found 5.4 km northwest of town proper Tagudin, almost 84.6 kilometers  from the Provincial Capital. Bounded by Barangay Baracbac, Tampugo, Bitalag& China Sea.

The Total Land are is 1.08413 in square kilometers with a 1.019121 square kilometers of Agricultural Land and .042241 square kilometers of Residential Land, the rest are sandy Land.

The Barangay has  a total population of 977, with a 223 household head. The means of transportation of barangay are Jeepney, Tricycle and motorcycle.
